Life Science
The study of living things.

An observation that deals with a number or amount.
The process of making inferences and interpretation based on observations and knowledge.

The diverse ways in which scientists study the natural world and propose explanations based on evidence they gather.

Manipulated Variable
The one factor that a scientist changes during an experiment.
Responding variable
The factor that changes as a result of changes to the manipulated and independent variable in an experiment.
Mas per unit volume. More compact, the denser the material is.

Actually does experiment.
Control Group
Used to minimize the unintended influence of other variables on the same system. (gets placebo)
