Aeration
The process of replacing fumigant-containing air or water with fresh air and/or water that contains little or no fumigant. Aeration must follow all fumigation operations.

A pesticide that is a gas, or forms a gas, when applied. In a high enough concentration, this gas (vapor) has pesticidal action.
