What is kinetic energy?
Is the energy of a moving object.
Give three examples of objects with kinetic energy.
A rolling ball, a moving rollercoaster, and a toy car.
Give three examples of objects that do not have kinetic energy.
A still pencil, a carpet, and a TV.
What two variables affect the kinetic energy of an object?
Speed and Mass.
How does mass affect the amount of kinetic energy an object can have?
The mass affects the kinetic energy because the more the mass the more energy is given to the object
How does speed affect the amount of kinetic energy an object can have?
It affects by making it go faster and longer, so whenever speed goes up so does energy.
What has a greater impact on kinetic energy, mass or speed? Explain
Speed because when ever you double, triple, or more you multiply that by itself and that's the amount of energy.
If mass and speed are kept constant, what happens to the kinetic energy?
The kinetic energy will do nothing but keep the same until the speed goes up, or the objects slow down.
