Major organs: brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves.

Endocrine System

Controls many body processes by means of chemicals.
Major Organs: Glands that produce hormones.

Reproductive System

Produces sex cells that can unite to create offspring.
Major Organs:
In females, eggs are produced in the overies.
In males, sperm are produced in the testies.

Skeletal System

Supports and protects the body. Works with muscles to allow movement.
Major Organs: All Bones

Muscular System

Enables body to move. Moves food through digestive system. Keeps heart beating.
Major Organs: All Muscles

Digestive System

Takes in food into the body. Breaks down food. Absorbs the digested material. Eliminates the undigested material.
Major Organs: Mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, pancreas, liver

Circulatory System

Carries nutrients and oxygen to the body cells. Carries wastes away from body cells.
Major Organs: Heart, blood vessels ( arteries and veins)

Respiratory System

Takes oxygen into the body. Eliminates carbon dioxide from the body.
Major Organs: Nose, mouth, trachea, lungs, diaphragm

Excretory System

Remove Wases.
Major Organs: Skin, lungs, kidneys, bladder
