1. significant weight loss
2. significant nutritional deficiency
3. Dependance on enteral feeding or nutritional supplements
4. Marked interference with psychosocial functioning
Restriction of energy intake relative to requirements leading to significantly low body weight. Intense fear of becoming fat, and a disturbance in the way one's body shape is experienced
Anorexia Nervosa
Type of Anorexia that does NOT contain a binge eating or purging episode in at least 3 mos, and consists mainly of dieting, fasting, or excessive exercise to lose weight
restricting type
Type of Anorexia that includes an episode of the misuse of diuretics, laxatives, enemas, or self-induced vomiting to lose weight within a 3 month period
binge-eating/purging type
