Head
The round proximal end of the radius that articulates with the capitulum of the humerus and the radial notch of the ulna.
Neck
The narrow part of the shaft of the radius located just below the head.
Radial tuberosity
A rough, oval area located below the neck on the medial side of the radius that is a point of attachment for the biceps brachii muscle.
Styloid process
A small, cone-like projection located on the lateral side of the distal end of the radius that is a point of attachment for the brachioradialis muscle.
