Scapula - Posterior View

A large, flattened process at the lateral end of the spine, located on the posterior surface of the scapula.
Coracoid process
A hook-like projection of the anterior surface of the scapula that serves as a point of attachment for the pectoralis minor, coracobrachialis, and biceps brachii muscles.
Glenoid cavity
A shallow cup-like depression on the scapula that articulates with the head of the humerus.
Superior angle
The point on the scapula where the vertebral and superior borders join together.
A large diagonal ridge that extends across the posterior surface of the scapula.
