This week, four members of the Quizlet Team are in Houston attending the Grace Hopper Conference in Houston, Texas. The conference is a celebration of women in computing, and this year more than 15,000 people are expected to attend.
What is team Quizlet doing there? Engineer Jennifer Liu is presenting not once but twice; yesterday she spoke on a panel about using edtech to build a better classroom, and on Friday she's speaking on a panel about figuring out [which type of company to work for](https://www.eiseverywhere.com/ehome/index.php?eventid=153076&tabid=351462&cid=1350690&sessionid=11462069&sessionchoice=1& (startup versus big company versus government, etc). In addition, three other Quizlet employees are at the conference to talk about how awesome it is to work at Quizlet, hand out limited edition t-shirts, and find the next great Quizlet employees (have we mentioned, we're hiring?).
Curious who Grace Hopper is, or about the contribution other women have made to the computer science field? We've got your back.
PS: If you're attending Grace Hopper, come say HI to us at booth 2730A.
