Today we are proud to announce that Quizlet is partnering with VotePlz, a non-partisan, non-profit organization that is helping people register to vote. Voting is an important American right, and we want to help as many people as possible exercise that right, regardless of their affiliation.

If you will be 18 or older by November 8th and you live in the U.S., you’ll now see a “Register to Vote” banner on our website when you log in. Through VotePlz, you can check to see if you’re registered. If you’re not, you can easily fill out the information required to get your voter registration submitted before your state’s deadline.

Many states allow you to register online, while other states require you to mail in a paper registration forms. VotePlz makes this easy by providing a pre-stamped envelope along with your form. All you’ll need to do is sign the form and drop it in the mailbox.

Voting is especially important for students and teachers. School funding, education standards, student loan opportunities — these are all decided by our elected representatives. From school board members to U.S. senators, the people we elect to represent us have a big say in what we learn, how we learn it, and how much it costs.

And finally, here are a few great Quizlet resources if you want to learn more about voting and elections in the U.S.:
