Time to share our favorite Quizlet hero submissions from last week!
For those of you who haven't yet shared your story with us, it's our final week of the contest! Learn how to enter to win a sweet Quizlet tee.
Without further ado, our third week's winners are:
1) Lizzie, Rachel Reilly, and Maestra Monne.
Rachel and her daughter, Lizzie, nominated Maestra Monne from E. Rivers Elementary school for introducing them to Quizlet and always making helpful study sets for Lizzie's Spanish class. From Lizzie: "I always thought learning a foreign language was hard and boring. Now that I have Maestra Monne's awesome Quizlet sets it is a lot easier and fun!! I have learned so many new Spanish terms that I never thought I could learn." Creating focused study material for their students is one of the great ways for teachers to use Quizlet, and we're honored to send Maestra Monne a Quizlet shirt!
2) Max Schindler and Wyatt Gilbert-Barker.
Max named Wyatt as his Quizlet hero because he "posts Quizlets on the daily" for all of his classes, which really helps him in school. We'd love to see this photo recreated with these fellows in their new Quizlet swag (hint hint).
3) Abby Hanus and Nicholas Salcedo.
Abby called Señor Salcedo a "motivator, and inspiration, and a Quizlet hero" as her Spanish teacher at Davis Senior High School. She told us about how he introduced Quizlet to her class at the beginning of the school year, and has since used Quizlet for every unit and even for an academic World Cup competition to see who can create the most Quizlet sets. Abby also mentioned that Señor Salcedo promises to propose to his girlfriend if we help "make his dream come true" about winning a Quizlet shirt... How could we say no? Congratulations, Señor Salcedo, on your contest win and your upcoming engagement! If you're interested in a Quizlet-themed wedding, let us know. ;)
4) Tessa Bridget and Taylor_Armstrong9.
Tessa let us know that Taylor has already created 44 study sets just this school year, and is still making more. She also shares them with everyone in their grade, so that all students can benefit from her study guides. According to Tessa, Taylor "even plans on leaving these behind to help others in the future" and will continue to create great Quizlet sets as they move forward in school. We appreciate Taylor's mission to share her sets and help everyone succeed, and we thank Tessa for nominating her!
It's our last week for #ShareTheShirt, so don't miss the chance to tell us about your Quizlet hero via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or email — we'll pick our last set of lucky winners on Friday, March 18th!
