Quizlet has been testing out a new in-class game for the last few months with a small group of teachers and now it's ready for all teachers to try out the beta (for free)!
How to try the beta
All teachers will see a "live" button on their study sets. Just click the button to get started.
You'll get a unique join code to share with your students who will join your game at quizlet.live.
Students will be split up into teams and need to work together to learn the vocabulary in the study set. It's a race to answer the questions quickly and accurately (and it's a ton of fun).
What teachers are saying
"Quite simply the students love the game! They say that it is very motivational and they learn their own words as well as the words of the teams with which they are cooperating. They were desperate to try LIVE again, so we will be returning to it regularly."
"Every single one of my language students from 8th graders to 12th graders was actively involved in the learning and review process. There was no down time. No one felt left out. They were all engaged. The students were forced to communicate and collaborate. It was simply amazing. We played six rounds in 30 minutes. They wanted to keep going. I nearly had a mutiny on my hands."
"While I always knew I was teaching the Wired Generation, never before have I seen such engagement, such willful cooperation, and such pride in learning. WOW does not begin to cover it."
