Kidney
Filters waste from the blood like urea, water, salt and proteins.
Bladder
saclike organ in which urine is stored before being excreted
Nephron
microscopic structure inside the kidney that filters the blood
Urethra
A small tube through which urine flows from the body to the enviroment
Urea
A waste product of the cells release into the bloodstream to be eliminated by the kidney
Ureter
A tube that moves the urine from the kidney to the urinary bladder.
Skin
Contains sweat glands that help to get rid of water and salts.
Sweat Gland
The glands that secrete sweat.
Carbon Dioxide
A waste produced during cellular respiration, it is removed by the lungs.
Ammonia
A toxin produced by cells when they use proteins.
Liver
This organ produces bile during digestion, but also changes toxins in the blood to less harmful chemicals.
