Limitations
After riots in black communities took place they lost the support of some of the white community in 1964 - 1970 resulting in a mass exodus of white families moving from inner cities to suburbs.

After the arrest of Rosa parks KING and his friends to help organize a protest against bus segregation . It was decided that black people in Montgomery would refuse to use the buses until passengers were completely integrated.
Impact of MLK Jr
KING inspired countless of youth and sit ins across the country. He was also a speaker and helped organize the famous march on Washington for jobs and freedom on August 28, 1963 there was a huge crowd and KING was the final speaker and made his famous I have a dream speech. After Kennedy's assassination the new President Lyndon Baines Johnson using his considerable influence in Congress he was able to get the legislation passed.
Legacy of MLK
Today blacks and whites mostly considered equal. No segregation exists.
Contribution of Rosa Parks
December 1, 1955 Rosa Parks left Montgomery fear a department store where she worked on and got on the bus she did every night as she sat in the black section at the back of the bus a bus became very full and the driver just told her to move to the back Brose refused. She was then arrested and found guilty of violating the segregation laws and she was fined.
Impact of Rosa Parks
She contacted the NAACP and became a volunteer to be a test case, on December 5 black people in Montgomery refused to use the bus until passengers were completely integrated after the success Rosa Parks became known as the mother of the civil rights movement. She founded the Rosa and Raymond parks as institute for self development which help to educate young people about civil rights.
Legacy of Rosa Parks
People would able to use the bus and were not forced to give up their seats, she also helped MLK end segregation.
