Choose two items from the following list, and decide how hard it would be to do both at the same time. Several things are hard to do simultaneously because of physical limitations. For example, it is really dangerous to type on your computer and drive at the same time. Others things are hard to do simultaneously because of cognitive limitations. For each pair of activities that you choose, decide why it would be easy or hard to do them simultaneously. Be sure to take the idea of cognitive load into account.

For example, it would be impossible to rock climb and talk on the phone at the same time, firstly because of physical limitations, we need all hands on deck in order to rock climb, but also because of the cognitive load. It is dangerous to rock climb, and it requires a lot of concentration, so to do anything simultaneously while rock climbing is not a good idea. But maybe, a person can find themselves thinking about tomorrow while rock climbing, which would be easier if the climbing route is well known and not too difficult.
