I personally wouldn't have a lot that I could draw in common with Cisnero. She's led a challenging life, which has turned her into who she is. I can relate to the concept of "otherness" in a different aspect of my life. I felt like I didn't belong with a certain group of people I had known my entire life. The environment was toxic and I knew I needed to exit that space for my peace of mind.
