Describe the difference between a typical galaxy and a quasar.
Solutions
VerifiedQuasars stand for quasi-stellar radio sources. Quasars represent exceedingly luminous active galactic nuclei. They do not represent galaxies, but they are related to them. They are actually positioned in the center of galaxies. Galaxies which do contain quasars are extremely bright due to the fact that quasars themselves are very bright. The reason lies in the fact that quasars have a superenormous black hole within themselves.
Quasars are young galaxies producing a great amount of gas and dust throughout their centers. The presence of quasar lasts till the constituents are falling. Once its constituents run out, it remains no more quasar and converts into a normal galaxy.
