In the fourth pair we see a big fall in average body mass of the subject especially when compared to the high body mass gain in the second pair. The fourth pair is the only one which has a mutated db or diabetes gene which affects hormones in the body causing a body mass drop. Even though the pairing also has a mutated ob gene it is not enough to combat the mutated db gene leading to a loss in body mass.
