A respiratory disorder wherein the airways get inflamed is called asthma. Asthmatic people have difficulty breathing since air can barely pass through the inflamed and narrowed air passageways. Some factors that can trigger asthma include strenuous physical activities since these can further cause difficulty in breathing. However, it is still important that people with exercise-induced asthma should exercise in moderation since exercise causes the lungs to efficiently take inadequate oxygen and displace carbon dioxide. Again, if done in moderation, asthmatic people can improve their condition through exercise.
