From your notes, choose two or three aspects of the character you'll want to focus on. Then, figure out what your main points will be, and express each point as a general statement. This statement will serve as the topic sentence of a paragraph. Jot down the evidence you'll use to support each general statement. You'll end up with a rough outline that shows your main points and supporting evidence.

If you haven't already done so, draft a thesis statement, a one- or two-sentence summary of your main points about your character.
