True.

In eukaryotic cells, transcription takes place in the nucleus, and translation occurs in the cytoplasm.

Transcription is a process in which the double-stranded DNA molecule unwinds, and a sequence of one strand of DNA is used as a mold for the synthesis of messenger RNA (mRNA).

After transcription, the mRNA transcript leaves the nucleus through nuclear pores.

Translation occurs in the cytoplasm when ribosome subunits attach to the beginning of the mRNA transcript and translate each mRNA codon into a specific amino acid.
