Solution

Verified

Devaluing muscle strength has good impact on society. Reasoning behind my thoughts is that society has evolved enough that we don’t need much muscle strength to live normal life. There are processes and technologies in every aspect of life that helps us live a better life without using strength like our ancestors (hunting to survive, using bare hands to build home, etc.). Devaluing muscle strength has also impact on a male – female relations, there are number of values, attitudes can are affected, and that can be affected. One of those is in regards to newborn baby. In past time it was expected from mother that stays with baby a long time after giving birth and it was expected from father to provide for everything else. Today after an initial period, mothers tend to get back at work and father take leave from a job to stay with child. This kind of behavior was unthinkable some years back. Furthermore, gender lines are getting blurred in some other part of society, like sports. Every day there are more and more successful female athlete, who are in better physical shape, and who are better in sports then male. Moreover, in some sports that were considered exclusively male sport, like weightlifting, today there are females lifters who over perform their male colleagues. Devaluating strength affected male values in regard to their looks. Today it is not a shame for men to take care about his overall appearance, to spend time on shopping, hairdresser, etc. Metro sexuality as it is called is accepted and does not represent anything to be a shame of. Devaluating strength had impact on male emotions, today men can be sensitive, can get in touch with their feeling, can cry, etc.
