Since, the perimeter of merry go round is 40π40\pi feet so point on it will travel a distance of 40π40\pi feet in one compete rotation.

Also it is given that merry go round rotates at 4 revolution in every 1 minute.

Distance travel by merry go round in 1 min =4×40π=160π=4\times40\pi=160\pi
