An example of identification would be acting and accepting the beliefs of a certain friend, relative who a person looks up to. Identification and compliance differ because in compliance the person accepts and behaves a certain way, but his beliefs and attitudes remain the same while in identification the person truly accepts the changed attitudes and beliefs.
Finally, an example of internalization is incorporating the attitude which is consistent with our own attitudes, opinions and beliefs as the part of us and being able to resist the attempts to change our attitudes.
