Women in Southeast Asian countries had greater rights than in China and India. Women worked with men in the fields. Buddhism was represented in Southeast Asia.

Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam and Christianity are some of the major religions in the South East Asian countries. Most of their cultures are almost uniform with differences seen in few aspects that distinguish them.
