Solution

Step 1

1 of 4

After Stalin's death, his successor Nikita Khruschev started the process of destalinization in the Soviet Union. This also led to a little more freedom in the Eastern European satellite countries as long as they allied themselves with the Soviet Union and communism but by and large life did not change much in the satellite countries which led to resentment among the people of those countries.
