Question

What happens when you walk from the light into a darkened room?

Solution

Verified

When we are in the light our pupils are constricted. Entering a dark room requires the eyes to adapt to the new environment. At first, we can hardly see anything. However, after some time the pupils will dilate so they could let more light in and we will see better. This process is called dark adaptation.
