The word "family" should be more defined, because it could mean only your siblings or family could include your parents, aunts, uncles, grand parents, etc.

It is not clear what is meant by "seek higher education": they could mean applying to college or actually being actualy going to college (including being accepted to college).

Moreover, it is possible that some people do not know some members of their family and thus they might be unaware if they actually went to college or not.
