Create a phone conversation in which you invite your partner to go out to lunch with you. Tell your partner what the menu is and what time you want to go. If your partner accepts, set a time. If your partner turns down the invitation, ask why he or she can't go and make sure he or she gives you a good excuse!

Imagine that your favorite restaurant is offering you a day of free meals. Make a list of what you want to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Write when you want to eat each meal. Then ask your partners when they want to eat each meal, and what they're going to order. Decide which person has tastes most like yours.

Work with a partner. Pick three food items from the vocabulary or words you've learned before, but don't tell your partner what you 've chosen. Using yes/no questions only, take turns trying to guess what your partner's choices are one by one.

Working in groups of four, take turns asking each other what time you have breakfast and lunch, and what you usually eat for each meal. Write what each person says. Then report on those who eat meals at the same time or have similiar foods for breakfast and lunch.
