Write two to three paragraphs to answer. What is the author’s perspective on writing in general? Give at least three examples of images or word choices in this essay that reveal his perspective, and explain how they do so.
Solution
VerifiedThe author suggests that the process of writing should be
freed from expectations. In addition, the writer should feel
comfortable while writing, and fully aware of the person
he/she is writing to.
That the process of writing should not be burdened with
unecessary expectations, the author shows in two cases.
Firstly, he advises using smaller page instead of a bigger
one so as not to have the writer worried over the quantity
of his writing. Secondly, the author gives job applications
as an example of a letter that is difficult to write just because
"it is meant to impress".
The fact that the writer should feel comfortable, the author
shows when he suggests that the writer should choose the
equipment he/she finds convenient.
Finally, the athor gives clear instructions about thinking of a
person one is writing to. The writer should think and remember
the previous conversations with the person and feel like they
are now having a new one.
