What events occurred in 1923?
-French and Belgian troops invade the Ruhr
-German workers began passive resistance in the Ruhr
-September- Gustav Streseman ended passive resistance in the Ruhr
-October-The Rentenmark was introduced
-November- Hyper-inflation at its peak
-8th-9th November: Beer Hall Putsch in Munich
-8th: 600 SA stormed into a Beer Hall and took control of the ministers
-9th: 3000 marched into Munich however Kahr, one of the ministers, betrayed Hitler and therefore the Nazis were blocked off by the police.
-As a result of the Beer Hall Putsch, 16 Nazis were killed and Hitler was injured which eventually lead to a prison sentence for Hitler.
