Fossil Fuels
Coal, oil, natural gas, and other fuels that are ancient remains of plants and animals. An unrenewable sorce of energy which will eventually run out.
Cooling tower
Cools down the steam inside the turbine and turns it back into water so that it can go back to the boiler and be turned into steam again.
Set of steam-powered fan blades that spins a generator at a power plant. Creates kinetic energy.
A machine that converts movement energy from the turbine into electrical energy.
Furnace and boiler
Is heated up with fossil fuels which heats up water and turns it into the steam used inside the turbine.
