The Computer Processing Unit. It fetches and executes instructions.
Arithmetic Logic Unit. It performs calculations and logical decisions.
Control Unit. It sends signals to control how data moves around the CPU.
It provides fast access to frequently used instructions and data.
Memory Address Register. It holds the address of where data is to be fetched or stored.
Memory Data Register. It holds the data fetched from, or to be written to the memory.
Accumulator. It holds the results of calculations.
Program Counter. It holds the address of the next instruction in memory.
