GCSE PE Components of Fitness
There are two general categories of your fitness: health-related and skill-related. The health-related components deal with your everyday physical fitness, and the skill-related components deal with your athletic abilities.

The ability of your heart and lungs to supply the working muscles with oxygen for a long period of time
The range of motion available at a joint
The ability of your voluntary muscles to work for a long period of time without getting tired
The maximum amount of force a muscle can exert against a resistance
The ability to change direction with speed whilst maintaining control
The ability to retain the body's centre of mass above the base of support
The ability to use two or more body parts at the same time, efficiently and smoothly
The ability to exert maximum strength quickly (speed x strength)
The time between stimulus and movement in response to it.
The ability to move a body part quickly
Cardiovascular endurance, Body Composition, Flexibility, Muscular Endurance, Speed and Strength
Health related components of fitness
PC BRA (Power, Co-ordination, Balance, Reaction time and Agility)
Skill related components of fitness
The ability of the body to meet the demands of the environment.
