Single stanza, feelings are blending into one. Amongst the great happiness of the time he always felt the power of nature, which made him feel uncertain about things.
What metaphoric suggestion is made by the poem's structure?
Wordsworth was a Romantic poet (considered to be the best) who was fascinated by nature, and believed it could teach us all we needed to know about ourselves. The focus on nature is particularly relevant as at the time of writing the poem the world was in the throes of the industrial revolution, where science had taken over to the point of people becoming disconnected to nature and creativity. Wordsworth wanted to fix that.
How does the context of the poem support its message?
It's autobiographical. Wordsworth describes a scene from his childhood where he was skating in the Lakes District. He is having a geat time skating, playing 'chace', but also feels a strange sense of uncertainty when he stops to think about nature and its power.
