It is the energy transferred by a 1 kW device working for 1 hour
Power
The rate of work done
Kirchhoff's first law
The sum of currents into a junction = sum of currents out of that junction
Kirchhoff's second law
Sum of e.m.f.s = sum of p.d.s (in a continuous loop in a circuit) energy is conserved
Internal Resistance
The heat energy lost inside a power source can be modelled as a resistor inside the power source. This resistance is the internal resistance.
