Toddler
The stage when offspring start to develop lots of new skills.

A large water tank has an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe. The inlet pipe has a diameter of $2.00 \mathrm{~cm}$ and is $1.00 \mathrm{~m}$ above the bottom of the tank. The outlet pipe has a diameter of $5.00 \mathrm{~cm}$ and is $6.00 \mathrm{~m}$ above the bottom of the tank. A volume of $0.300 \mathrm{~m}^3$ of water enters the tank every minute at a gauge pressure of $1.00 \mathrm{~atm}$. a) What is the velocity of the water in the outlet pipe? b) What is the gauge pressure in the outlet pipe?

physics
Two mass-spring systems $A$ and $B$ oscillate so that their total mechanical energies are equal. If $m_A=2 m_B$, which expression best relates their amplitudes? $(a)$ $A_{\text{A}} \stackrel{\text{A}}{=} A_{\text{B}} / 4$,$(b)$ $A_{\text{A}}=A_{\text{B}} / \sqrt{2})$ $(c)$ $A_{\text{A}}=A_{\text{B}^{\prime}}$ $(d)$ Not enough information is given to determine the ratio of the amplitudes.
