What's a moment?
Moment is the turning effect of a force around a fixed point
What's the equation to calculate a moment?
Moment = force x perpendicular distance from pivot
What units are moments measured in?
Nm
Describe how levers reduce the force needed for a moment
Levers increase the distance between the pivot and the place that the force is applied
