Studying with Write mode
You can still use the original version of Learn as Write! Write measures how well you know your definitions and keeps track of what you miss so you can focus on those terms later in your study session.
Write prompts you with either a term or a definition. To move forward, type your answer and select Answer or press Enter to see if you were right or wrong.
Stumped on an answer? Select Don't know and you'll see the right answer. Then, Quizlet will ask you to type it again before you can continue studying.
Make a small mistake or spelling error? Select Override: I was right and you'll advance to the next question with another correct answer under your belt.
Quizlet will prompt you to answer each of the questions in your set once in the first round of Write. After that round, you'll see round results, a snapshot of your correct and incorrect answers and an indication of how far you've progressed through your set.
Quizlet will then prompt you to answer the questions you missed again. If you answer them all correctly, you'll finish the mode. If you don't, you'll start a third round to answer the questions you missed in round two.
Customizing your study session
Open the Options menu to customize your Write session. You can disable audio, choose to see terms or definitions first, study starred terms or start over if you want to begin a new session.
Finishing Write and viewing your results
To complete Write, you need to study until you've answered each question correctly. Once you do that, you'll reach the end of your session and see information on which terms you missed and how many times you missed them.
If you want to start another session and focus on just the terms you missed, select Star these terms and start over.
Quizlet will start a new session for you with only those terms so you can make sure you really know them.
