Uploading your own images

You can upload images to your sets by upgrading to Quizlet Plus or Quizlet Teacher. If you're looking for instructions on adding images from the Quizlet image gallery, please see this article instead.

Getting started

You can add images to a set as you're creating it, and to sets you've already made. To add images to a new set, select Create. To add images to an older set, go to that set page and select Edit

Uploading images

You can upload images by dragging and dropping them into the definition field, copying and pasting, or selecting the image icon to the right of a definition.

To choose an image from your computer, select the image icon. Then, select Or upload your own image to pick the image you want to upload. Select the file, then select Open

Add any other images you need, then select Done to save your set.

What types of images can I upload?
We currently support JPGs, GIFs, and PNGs. Our max image file size is 3MB.

Can I upload images to the term side of my flashcards, too?
We only support adding images to the definition side of flashcards. However, you can add images to the definition side and then study definition-first in any study mode so you see images before text.

Can I add more than one image to a single definition?
Not currently, but this may be something we're able to add to Quizlet in the future.
