Studying missed words (using stars)

Studying only the words you're missing just got easier! With stars you can mark the terms you're struggling with and separate your terms into two sections - "Study all terms" and "Study starred terms." You can then choose to study those in any of Quizlet's six study modes.

Studying only your most missed terms

Once you've started studying your set, you can star the terms you're missing from the "Most Missed" view on your List tab.

Once you've starred the terms you want to focus on, the option to study starred terms will appear on the set page. You can select this option and study just those in any of Quizlet's six modes by then clicking a mode button highlighted in yellow.

You can toggle between "Study all terms" and "Study starred terms only" on the main set page, or while in a study mode:

You can continue studying those starred terms in any other study mode by clicking the icons at the top of the page.

Other ways to star terms

If you're looking to create a sub-set of terms before you even get started studying, you can star terms directly from the Study tab of your set page. To star a group of terms, hold down shift and click on a star; continue holding shift and click on another star.

You can also star terms in Flashcards mode:
