Getting your students signed up
Creating free accounts on Quizlet is quick and easy! We recommend asking your students to sign up for their own accounts so that they can use Quizlet with other teachers and subjects. Once your students have accounts, they can track their own progress and scores, and you can add them to your classes and view Class Progress if you have an upgraded Quizlet Teacher account.
How to sign up
Ask your students to select Sign up on the Quizlet homepage, or have them go directly to the signup page.
If your students use Google Apps for Education or Gmail, they can sign up using their Google username and password by selecting Sign up with Google.
Students can also create an account by entering their birthday, a username, a valid email address, and a secure password. Quizlet is open to students of all ages, but requires all users to provide their real date of birth to comply with local laws.
Accounts for students under age 13
If your students are under 13, they will be asked for a parent's email address during signup. Password resets, Quizlet support responses, and other notifications will go to this email address. You can learn more about accounts for students under age 13 here.
