I can't sign in to my Quizlet account

Quizlet says I’m using the wrong Google account.

Go to Google and select the profile picture in the top right corner of the screen. If you don’t see your personal or school Google account information there, that means you’re signed into the wrong account -- most likely a friend or classmate’s, if you’re using a shared iPad or Chromebook at school.

To sign out, select Sign out. Go back to Quizlet and select Log in with Google. Sign into the correct Google account, and you’ll then be signed into your Quizlet account linked with that Google email address.

I’m not getting the username reminders or password resets I requested.

Check your Spam or junk folder. If you don’t see them there, send us an email with your Quizlet username and the email address you used to sign up. We can figure out what’s going wrong from there!

I think I have more than one account.

You can request a list of all of the usernames linked to a particular email address from the Forgotten page. Once you’ve signed into the account you were looking for, you can send us a message to get help deleting the extra accounts you don’t need.

I keep getting automatically logged into the wrong account

If you are currently logged in to a Google account that is linked to a Quizlet account, you will be automatically logged into Quizlet.

When you have more than one Google account, you'll see a list of Google accounts to choose from.

If you do not want to be automatically signed into that account, you can unlink your Google account from the Settings page. You can also go to Google's passwords page to turn off auto-login on any website that uses it on your Google browser.

Quizlet says that my username or password is wrong, but I know it’s right.

This message could mean that your browser has outdated login information stored for your Quizlet account. If you clear that stored login information and restart, you should then be able to sign into Quizlet without any problems.

I don’t have access to the email address I used to create my Quizlet account. How do I get a password reset?

If the email address on your Quizlet account is out of date, send us an email with your Quizlet username, the email you used to sign up and your current email address. We’ll update your account and send you a password reset to your new email so you can sign back in.

Quizlet says I've tried to log in too many times

Quizlet will give you this message after too many unsuccessful attempts to enter your password. The easiest way to get logged back in is to reset your password from the Forgotten Page. Please see Forgotten username or password for more details.

I deleted my account, but I want to open a new account with the same username

Once you have signed up for an account with a specific username, that Quizlet username cannot be reused even after the original account has been deleted.
