Finding sets to study on the Quizlet Android app

With over 260 million sets (and counting!) you can search for helpful study sets created by other users on our website and mobile apps.

You can also create your own study sets, but we recommend searching for sets made by other people first to see what’s available and save time. You can always make a copy of another user’s set and edit it to fit your needs.

How to search for sets

To search for study sets, tap the magnifying glass icon to open the search bar.

Then, type the subject you're looking to study into the text box at the top of the screen-- the more specific, the better! For example, you’ll get more relevant results if you search for Diagram of the human heart than if you search for Anatomy.

Once you’ve entered a topic, a list of study sets that match your search will show up below. If you don't find what you're looking for, you can tap the x icon to search for something else.

To study a set you find via search, tap on the set title and choose a study mode.

Creating your own study set

If you don’t find a set on the topic you are studying, you can create your own custom study set! Please see Creating a new set on Android for more details.

How do I search for a class or specific person?

Tap the magnifying glass icon to open search. Then, tap either Classes or Users at the top of the screen and enter your class name or the username of the person you’re looking for.
