Canceling your Quizlet subscription's auto-renewal

Subscriptions to Quizlet Go, Quizlet Plus and Quizlet Teacher purchased on the Quizlet website or mobile apps are scheduled to automatically renew each year.

To cancel your subscription's auto-renewal, please follow the steps below. Instructions are listed according to the platform you used to pay. 
 

I paid for my subscription on the Quizlet website


To see if your subscription is set to renew automatically, select Settings from your profile’s dropdown menu and go to Upgrades.

If your subscription is not renewing automatically, your Upgrades section will show your upgrade’s expiration date.

Non-renewing:

If your subscription is scheduled to renew automatically, you can select Manage subscription to change your renewal settings.

 Please note that group upgrades do not automatically renew.
 

Canceling your auto-renewal:

  1. Go to Upgrades on your Settings page
  2. Select Manage subscription
  3. Select Cancel auto-renewal​

(If you know you have an auto-renewing subscription but don’t see the option to cancel from your Settings page on the website, please view instructions for iOS or Android apps.)

To be sure your cancellation takes effect before your next subscription period starts, submit your cancellation request at least 24 hours prior to your renewal date.

To see if your subscription is set to renew automatically, go your settings page from the Quizlet website on your computer or mobile browser.


Subscribers who made their purchase via our iOS apps must cancel auto-renewal through the Apple App Store: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039

Once you have successfully canceled your iTunes renewal you will receive a confirmation email from Apple.

To be sure your cancellation takes effect before your next billing date, make sure you submit your cancellation request at least 24 hours prior to your renewal date.


Please note: uninstalling the Quizlet app (or deleting your account) does not automatically stop your subscription.

Subscribers who made their purchase via our Android apps must cancel auto-renewal through the Google Play Store: https://support.google.com/googleplay/answer/7018481?co=GENIE.Platform%3DAndroid&hl=en

Once you have successfully canceled your Google Play renewal you will receive a confirmation email from Google.

Please note: uninstalling the Quizlet app (or deleting your account) does not automatically stop your subscription.

 

What happens to my content if my subscription expires?

If your subscription expires, all of your sets, folders, and classes will remain on your account and you’ll always be able to see your uploaded images and diagrams and listen to your recorded audio but you will lose access to paid features.
