reinterpretation
Noun: 1) the reader's opinion of the meaning of the story 2) does not agree with the author/storyteller about the meaning of the story and tries to change the story to give it a new meaning
retelling of story place
Noun Idiom: 1) when a reader takes the plot/characters of a story and makes the story happen in a different country (i.e. foreign country/culture) 2) Example: House Taken Over in China or A Rose for Emily in South Africa
retelling of story time
