Employees will only do the exact work they were employed to do.

All out strike
happens when all unions in a business go on strike in support of the striking union. No member will cross the picket line

When an acceptable person or organisation is asked to help the 2 sides settle their dispute, e.g. Labour Relations Commision.
An acceptable person or organisation is asked by both sides to examine the dispute and make a decision which they agree in advance to accept e.g. Labour Court or Employment Appeals Tribunal
Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU)
A voluntary body made up of member trade unions.
happens when disputes arise over who does what. E.g. an electrician doing the work of a plasterer.
