How do SABAs work?
-most effective agents for reversing acute airway obstruction caused by bronchoconstriction
-onset < 5 mins
-duration: 4-6 hours
MDI + spacer is quicker and as effective as nebulization
-NOT recommended for chronic daily dosing (can form tolerance)
