Quizlet’s marketing team is tasked with introducing Quizlet to the next 50 million learners (and beyond!). We work closely with product, user operations, business development and other teams to ensure that everyone who should be using Quizlet has heard about it.

As Quizlet’s product marketing lead, you’ll be responsible for product marketing efforts across all Quizlet products. You’ll creating a vision for product marketing at Quizlet, and then lead a team to execute against that vision, spanning four (and growing) cross-functional groups.
On a daily basis, you’ll partner with Quizlet’s product management organization to relay customer insights that inform product roadmap decisions and strategy. And, you’ll provide leadership, structure, and direction to a team of talented product marketers. You’ll be equally comfortable leading market research efforts as you are picking out a new SAAS vendor we need to integrate into our marketing tech stack. You will bring a passion for high-quality marketing and communications programs and thrive working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
- 7+ years experience in a product marketing role
- Experience managing a team or an interest in having people management be a skill you build out
- Strong leadership qualities with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with a “test and learn” mindset.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills with a high attention to detail. Comfort with ambiguity, uncertainty, and a rapidly evolving business landscape.
- Experience building creative go-to-market strategies for consumer products (bonus if those products are in the education, marketplace, or subscription space)
- Strong SEO background
- Experience working with user generated content and/or marketplaces
