Cultures with event-relationship related view feel happier and more fulfilled if they can do more things at the same time. 
Not very interested in schedules and punctuality. Present reality is more important than appointments. Priority is given to relative thrill or significance of each meeting. 
Time is event or personality related, a subjective commodity which can be manipulated, molded, stretched, or dispensed with, irrespective of what the clock says.

What does event-relationship related view of time mean?

Not linear nor event-relationship related. They do not see time as racing away utilized in a linear future, but coming around again in circle, where the same opportunities, risks and dangers will represent themselves when people are so many days, weeks or months wiser.
instead of tackling problems immediately in sequential fashion, circle around them for a few days or weeks before committing themselves.

Lewis plots countries in relation to three categories:
1) Linear-Active (those who plan, schedule, organise, pursue action chains, do one thing at a time. Germans and Swiss are in this group.)
2) Multi-Active (those lively, loquacious peoples who do many things at once, planning their priorities not according to a time schedule, but according to the relative thrill or importance that each appointment brings with it. Italians, Latin Americans and Arabs are members of this group.)
3) Reactive (those cultures that prioritise courtesy and respect, listening quietly and calmly to their interlocutors and reacting carefully to the other side&#039;s proposals. Chinese, Japanese and Finns are in this group.)
