What are Parallel Lines?
They are two lines that could run along forever and never touch. An example of parallel lines is the road lines.
What are Intersecting lines?
They are to lines that meet or cross another line.
Angles are....
The space in between two lines.
How can you name an angle?
By the letters of the points that make the angle, or you could use the angle symbol and a letter.
What is the arc?
Is a part of a circle that is put in the centre of an angle.
What is a Perpendicular line?
It meets at 90 degrees and crosses in a square.
What is a Right angle?
They are 90 degrees and go straight up and down. An example is the corner of a square or rectangle.
What is an Acute angle?
This angle is smaller than 90 degrees.
What is an Obtuse angle?
An angle anywhere from 91 to 179 degrees, and is bigger than a right angle but smaller than a straight angle.
What is a straight angle?
Is a straight line that is a 180 degree angle.
What is a complementary angle?
This is when you divide a right angle into two pieces. Then when they are added together they make 90 degrees.
What is a reflex angle?
An angle between 180 and 360

The enclosing boundary of a circle

The straight line passing from side to side through the centre of a circle
